The Waterloo Filtration Institute (WFI) is thrilled to announce and extend our deepest gratitude to all our speakers, chairs and participants for the overwhelming success of its WFI 2023 Annual Virtual Conference (WFI 2023), December 5-6. The theme was "Filtration and Its Influence on the Future of Our Planet". It featured the following four sessions:

We achieved a record-high attendance with over 440 registrants, and 250 participants from 30 different countries actively engaged in the live conference sessions. This surge in interest underscores the growing importance of Filtration & Separation (F&S) in influencing daily lives and contributing to a sustainable future.
Seamless Execution of Program
Kudos to all our speakers for flawlessly presenting their topics as scheduled. Their informative presentations offered attendees advanced insights, the latest updates, opportunities and trends of broad filtration related clean air and clean water market.
Record-High Product of the Year (POY) Entries
Our sincere appreciation goes to all participants for their unwavering dedication to advancing product innovation. Your collective efforts have truly elevated the standards in Filtration & Separation. With over 30 competitive nominations from 10 countries, congratulations are extended to Zaack (France), Camfil (Canada), and Molymem, Ltd. (UK) for securing awards in each of the three POY categories.
Over 100 People Received CFSS Certificates
WFI proudly celebrated a record number of individuals from the CFSS 2023 Class, receiving Certified Filtration and Separation Specialist (CFSS) Certificates during the WFI CFSS 2023 Class Graduation Ceremony. Congratulations to the CFSS 2023 Class!
Call for Action
Attendees immersed themselves in two days of dynamic learning and knowledge-sharing, gaining valuable insights across various disciplines. The roundtable discussion during the concluding session not only showcased top expert insights on the trends and opportunities in air and water filtration but also issued a compelling call to action. Each participant was encouraged to make a positive impact on the future of our planet, also considering the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations and aligning with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.
