Clarksville, TN, USA (January 21, 2025) – The World Filtration Institute (WFI) is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Qingen Samuel Li as a distinguished WFI Ambassador. Dr. Li’s extensive expertise and significant contributions to the filtration and separation industry make him an outstanding addition to WFI’s global network of ambassadors.



Dr. Li serves as the Vice President of Consumer Filters Americas at Freudenberg Filtration Technologies, a global leader in filtration solutions dedicated to enhancing air quality, protecting people, and improving industrial and consumer processes. With over 13 years of experience in consumer filtration systems, Dr. Li is a recognized expert in indoor air quality (IAQ), particularly in the removal of odors through advanced impregnation and modification technologies for porous materials.


Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Li has demonstrated excellence in diverse roles, including Research & Development, Operational Management, and Sales Leadership. His unique ability to combine technical expertise with strategic business insight has driven innovation and improved the performance of filtration solutions for consumer applications.


Dr. Li’s educational background further highlights his qualifications. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, equipping him with a strong foundation in technical and leadership skills. In 2024, he earned his PhD in Material Processing Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University, focusing on enhancing material performance and its practical applications in filtration technologies.
